About
Jess Keller Poole and Shawna Cormier created Seattle Beer School to welcome everyone who is interested about beer. Our goal is accessibility, sharing of knowledge, and having a good fucking time.
Who are we?
Jess Keller Poole is a Certified Cicerone®, BJCP Judge, beer journalist, and podcast host on Cheers to Beers. If she's not perfecting pouring lagers from a side-pull at Aslan Brewing Co., she's bottling saison at Floodland, petting cats or researching alien abductions.

Shawna Cormier is Director of Membership and Events for the Washington Brewers Guild, an Advanced Cicerone®, BJCP Judge, co-host of Cheers to Beers, and Chair of the American Homebrewers Association's Governing Committee, and Brewers Association Board of Directors representative. She loves playing with her son and daughter and singing musical theatre with her husband.
